Capitol City Baptist K-12 Academy Question #6: Who will proctor the student quizzes and tests?
Some of the quizzes at the early elementary levels may be administered by a parent, while at the higher grade levels, accountability is an issue, and an adult holding a teaching degree or theology degree is preferred to proctor weekly quizzes. Older students go to an arranged, local testing site to meet with a qualified proctor, preferably under the direction of the local church. Our aim is to assist the church congregation in helping families “train up a child in the way he should go…” At the high school grade levels the nine-week quarter tests should be administered by a proctor at sites to be arranged. Convenient testing sites and times are best worked out locally with the proctor nearest you. Proctors also collect the weekly quizzes for purposes of verification and authenticity.
