Can’t we save money by doing something about the heating and cooling, especially in residence halls?
Many of the facilities on campus are connected to a central heating and cooling system, which is economical but allows little flexibility within each building. Converting to individual systems for each building would cost millions of dollars and isn’t economically feasible at this time. The university is always looking for ways to save costs and invites suggestions from students, faculty and staff. The president invites anyone to share their ideas with him. To share your ideas, please send us an e-mail. The ideas will be forwarded to the appropriate department.
