Can seem to get audio out through HDMI?
This is one that annoyed me when I first set up the unit because it’s not the most intuitive in this regard. In the hardware menu, make sure that you have set up HDMI Audio Out as “Off”, not “On”. Yes, counterintuitive , but it needs to be off to send audio out to your speakers! (thanks to the utmostjamin1 for reminding me of that one!). Other: Pressing and holding the Standby button and the CD input button at the same time brings up the word “Test”, hitting the CD button again causes all the LED lights on the display to light up. Not sure what else it does, if anything.
