No, these lamps may appear brighter but in fact ANY time you filter white light through a colored object be it the glass of the lamp itself or a colored lens, you are actually REDUCING the amount of light coming from the lamp. These lamps are not really doing anything but shifting the color temperature of the light and tricking your eyes. This actually makes seeing at night HARDER on your eyes. Higher wattage than stock lamps that have been mired shifted (tinted blue) may produce nominally more light but then would create a need for changes in wiring or fuse amperage.
