Can I just read a header or Dejanews and tell who HolyAvenger is?
It would be nice for HolyAvenger if you couldn’t. In the past, when HolyAvenger first appeared on alt.2600, he knew even less than he does know. His forged posts had headers exactly the same as his own. The simple fact is that, of the four ISPs used by HolyAvenger, not a single one is even in the same state where HolyAvenger lives, even though everyone of his posts comes from innovolvement.net, located in Santa Jose, California.. HolyAvenger tried to cover for this by saying his old account actually belonged to a client, and he used it to send email and post to newsgroups. Why anyone would hire Holyavenger, alt.2600 doesn’t know, but he insists on it. While this might, through research, reveal all the posts that he forged, it does nothing to reveal HolyAvenger’s identity. Forgeting for a moment his acceptable user policy forbids account sharing, he says that these accounts where used by as many as thirty people! .
