Visit a cosmetologist/facial technician and get a facial. They use special machines to extract dirt and all other foreign matter from the skin. It sounds gross but it really helps. They can also recommend products and give you an idea of how often you should come in. If it is too expensive a good facial tech would still offer a consultation and give you some at home tips to use. Make sure they are licensed and informative about their products and profession. THERE ARE A LOT OF FAKES OUT THERE. It is your job to protect yourself. No one should be able to give you good advice without looking at your skin first.
