flash player that a site is asking you to install differ from the flash player u have downloaded. there is an adobeflash player activex..and the other one is plug-in. the one that is always ask when you enter a site neeting a flash player is not activex but plug-in. though you have installed the activex, you need still to install the plug-in. Flash player is not placed in the programs, it is a somewhat a technical program that could only be seen installed by opening the add of remove programs, there it is listed together with other program you installed.
