Can a student who has been reported to SJA for suspected academic misconduct just drop that class?

No, once a student has been reported he/she will still have to go through the disciplinary process regardless of whether he or she is still enrolled in the class. Also, deans in the academic colleges may not approve a late drop for a class in which a student has been reported for suspected academic misconduct.
