Canada Post is doing everything it can to restore and maintain rural mailbox delivery. However, not all rural mailboxes can be made to meet established safety criteria for delivery. In some cases, heavy traffic volumes, poor or obstructed sightlines or legal requirements make it impossible for mail carriers to deliver the mail without taking undue risk.
