Can Young TV Stars Avoid Horror Movies? My reaction: • The author of the post, Mandi Bierly, is obviously not a horror fan. • As my Before They Were Stars feature shows, this isn’t a phenomenon restricted to young TV stars, but rather to young actors and actresses in general. It just so happens that teen-skewed TV shows have exploded in recent years (That’s pretty much all that’s on the CW, isn’t it?), so they’re a large font of affordable talent. • Bierly seems to think that these young stars are “slumming” or wasting their talents on
