yes i went back to work when my doc said to take more time off but i don`t think it is illegal or anything like that, and i`m sure if it was your boss would tell you as he could get into trouble for letting you work while your on the sick, hope that helps you x

unless you have some highley contagious desiese, or you are a risk to health and saftey in your work place then it is fine for you to work, although you should always take the advice of your doctors very seriously they dont warn people off not going to work for no reason.
