Can you win agaist a bus company?
You can win against biffcompanies just do not let them intimidate you. Your insurance company should be dealing with this for you but if not, I suggest the following. Contact the bus company in writing (recorded delivery) and tell them that you want a resolution to this and state a closing date. In fairness give them 2 working weeks to reply to you. Also tell them that if you do not hear from them you will be contacting legal advise and considering what legal action to take against them and the driver. You could consider a “No Win No Fee” company for this. You may also want to ask the bus company for the maintenance records for the bus at that time and state that if this is not forthcoming you will contact VOSA about this. VOSA are the people that are responsible for the inspections on vehicles. Keep your nerve and push them do not be intimidated.
