Can you vote twice in the UK general election if your a student living away from home?
No. However, while you are only allowed one vote per election in the general election, the rules are that you are allowed one vote per body you are registered to vote in. So that would mean you could legally vote for two different councils, or vote in the general election in one place and a council election in another place for example.
