If it’s all you got YES! Actually they are pushing for people to eat wheat bread and many baked items are made of it so Yes French toast would be good to. Any stale bread is the best white, sour dough, buttermilk or old loaf of sliced french bread. Soak you bread slices in a mixture of 3 beaten eggs, 1 cup of milk, little salt and a couple table spoons of white sugar. Soak till bread is fully absorbed then put in a medium heat iron skillet. The sugar gives a crisper browned crust. Fry for about 5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels & dust with powdered sugar. I like sweetened strawberries & whipped cream and Mrs. Butterworth’s Original!!! OMG I think I want this for breakfast in the morning!
