No – spray whipped cream will “deflate” when you fold it in recipes. It doesn’t hold up when you use it in recipes. EDIT: I have done this, so my recommendation is that you do not use it. I put whipped cream stars from a spray can on top of a cool whipped frosted cake. Stored it in the fridge covered. The canned whipped cream did not keep it’s shape and turned into a liquid mess, while the cool whip kept it’s shape. So they are not the same thing.
