Can you use normal batteries in solar powered lights?

0

no, you cannot use normal – alkaline – batteries in solar lights. The solar panel on top of the light is used to recharge the battery when the sun is out and then there is a light sensor that turns on the LED and the charger off. By putting alkaline batteries in the light, you will be trying to charge the battery and alkaline batteries cannot be recharged, the seals will fail and the battery will leak, and will destroy the light.
