u can and u cant cayyenne pepper is a alot more spiccyer then black pepper and it adds a lil color to the food but truth they both add a hint of heat so u can just becare full in the amount and if u dont mined the color but if u want black pepper go for whole and crush it ur self even if u have to us a pan but its the way to go not black pepper form a tin can

No! Totally different! Cayenne is a chili, pepper is a crushed seed. Not that you can’t flavor with cayenne, but it changes the dish drastically. If you have to “substitute” something, chili powder, or even paprika, would be a better choice.

No, cayenne pepper is hot and spicy whereas black pepper is, well, peppery. completely different tastes. You can replace cayenne with chili powder.
