Can you use Betty Crockers Whipped Frosting to frost a fondant cake?
Personally, if I’m going to the trouble of putting fondant on the cake, I’m going to use real buttercream underneath it. The canned frostings have a really unpleasant chemical taste. Also, I like to wait until the buttercream has crusted before I put the fondant on…you’d have a long, long wait with a canned frosting (they don’t crust).
