Can you use a flex shaft with a rotary tool to cut through wood?
NO. You want a fixed shaft to keep from twisting the blade into a bind. These wheels cut very well,,, but if you get them in a bind, they can break,,,, so use your safety glasses. EDIT – The second option is better, because it has a guard that helps hold the stock. I would also use a good vice to make sure the stock doesn’t pivot, or rotate.
