Yes it is okay. I would use a heat protecting spray to help keep moisture in your hair and not dry out your hair. I have hair extensions and I have to be very careful with my hair. You would know if you can’t, synthetic hair melts and of course the real human hair is fine. 🙂 I use the CHI heat protecting spray and I love it. I also love Joico. My hair extensions used to be very dry and I started using product that provided more moisture and you could just tell and feel how great it was.
