Can you use a Electric Planer on a wood chip countertop?
If I understand you right you are going to have a hell of a job with the planer,unless the countertop is removed to work on.How would you get to the section closest to the wall?If you are planning on removing the excess while it’s still fitted,I’d use one of the Japanese style pull saws,they work well on laminate and can cut in very confined areas,like right up to a wall.If the counter comes off,planer will be fine.
