A good job is a job you enjoy doing and that pays enough for you to continue doing it. A good job is not always a well paid job or a high status job. Most of us end up sacrificing some of our enjoyment for more money so we can buy our enjoyment outside of work. Actors, artists and musicians all have a passion for their job but may struggle to support themselves in their chosen field. All jobs have their downside. In short, it is not possible to be prescriptive about what a ‘good’ job is. It all depends on the person and their needs at the time.
