Lucille Ball’s official cause of death was heart disease (although its been reported as “smoking-induced lung cancer”) Bea Benadere probably best known as Betty Rubble’s voice in The Flintstones Amanda Blake (Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke) Wilhelmina Behmenburg Cooper (modeling agency pioneer) Colleen Dewhurst – the only movie that comes to my mind right now was the Anne of Green Gables made-for-TV movie series Betty Grable – famous actress and “pin-up” girl Susan Hayward – actress (lung cancer went into her brain) Sophie Tucker – entertainer Lana Turner technically died of throat cancer but it was caused by smoking Just an FYI, Dana Reeves (Christopher Reeve’s wife) did die of lung cancer in 2004, but she was a non-smoker.
