Can you tell us a little about the Miss Sinergy pageant and its mission?
This is only the 2nd year of the Miss Sinergy Pageant. This year the pageant took place at House of Sweden and all of the proceeds from the event went towards Small Victories Project and Breast Cancer Awareness. It is the hope that the winner of the pageant will promote involvement with local charities and reach out to a diverse audience to better our community. Have you gotten to represent Miss Sinergy at any events since your recent crowning? It’s only been a short time since the crowning so most of the work that we have done has been brainstorming, setting goals, and planning the events that we’re going to be doing this year. I was pretty active in volunteering before so while I’ve had the title I’ve participated in events here and there. It was nice to have the opportunity to show the sash and crown to the guys on the Special Olympics team I coach- they were all really excited.
