Can you tell me why women start a fight when men pay them a compliment?
If you’re asking why the woman tries to argue with you when you give her a compliment, there are two reasons why: 1. Our culture teaches women to be humble and discredit their own accomplishments. I.e. I’m not smart, I just got lucky and I study/read a lot. 2. Maybe she has low self-esteem and can’t believe your compliment, even if she wants to. Be patient with your girl even when she tries not to accept a compliment. Just keep being nice, and eventually she’ll come around. Even if she doesn’t act like it, she appreciates your kind words. I know this because I tend to downplay compliments from others, even though I like receiving them.
