Can you tell me what the differnce is between (presidential) Executive privilege and immunity?

Answer Hi Phillip, Executive Privilege means that certain documents or questions are privileged and cannot be obtained during discovery or by other means because doing so would interfere with the deliberative process within the Executive Branch. In other words, Presidential aides would not feel free to confer with one another and the President if such communications could be used against them later. Executive immunity means that people in the Executive branch cannot be held personally liable for acts or ommissions carried out as part of their duties. I hope this helps!
