Can you suggest a strategy to reduce the time needed to perform a synchronisation?
Many factors dictate the time it takes to perform a synchronisation. The selected date ranges, the version (16 or 32-bit) of GroupWise, the number and size of items in both GroupWise and the Psion which have to be processed, and the speed of your computer, network and serial connection. Taking these factors into account, you may wish to consider the following suggestions: Choose small date ranges to synchronise – Data which changes often needs to be synchronised more often. You may need to synchronise appointments every day, tasks and notes once a week, and anniversaries once a month. You should only synchronise the address book when you need too, especially if the GroupWise side contains a large number of entries.
