I found these which don’t use suet. I dont know if you are looking for a particular flavor, but it seems as though they can be made without it, and some of them substitute shortening or Crisco for the suet. STEAM PUDDING 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 c. flour 1 egg 1 tsp. baking powder 1 heaping tbsp. cocoa or 1 square chocolate 3/4 c. raisins Mix all together and steam for 30 minutes in a pan with a hole in the center. (Like an angel food cake pan, only smaller.) SAUCE FOR PUDDING: 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. hot water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp.
