Yes, but you can only make free calls to other joip users. In order to make/receive calls to and from other landlines/cellular lines, you would have to subscribe to a joip service plan. Please visit www.joip.com for complete information on their calling plans. NOTE: You may not be able to dial emergency numbers such as 911 if the phone is not connected to a landline.

• Yes, but if you don’t subscribe to one of joip’s service plans you can only make free calls to other joip users. If you choose not to plug your phone to a landline we recommend subscribing to one of joip’s service plans which will allow you to call landline and cellular numbers for extremely low rates; in most cases these rates are much lower then the regular landline rates.
