Can you sned out and email blast through a service using a third-partys opt-in list?

Here’s the situation: We are working on a cross-media marketing campaign for a client. We had purchased a data list that included email addresses from a list company. We sent out the mailer and will be following up with and email blast reinforcing the offer from the mailing. The list that we purchased includes email addresses of those who have opted-in to receive offers from various outlets. Here is where the gray area sets in… We use another service to blast our emails (we do not blast them from our server). So we have a purchased opt-in list and we want to blast to using another service. Are there any restrictions for doing so? Our one service states that they do not allow sending from a purchased/third-party list but another service we use does not say that. We are really looking for input from those that may have tried this before and succeeded/failed or from any service that does email blasting. We already know the issues and regulations regarding the CAN-SPAM act and opt-in rul
