Can you run the swimming pool pump to long?
Running the pump continuously does take alot of electricity; if you wish to save on electricity buy a dual speed pump with a high low setting. When the pool is in use or while vacuuming put the pump on high but at night or when it is not in use place it one low, this lowers the electric bill and prevent heavier sediments from going to the bottom and prevents the filter from doing its job and you vacuuming more than you would like. The steady circulation also allows for a consistent spread of the pool chemicals and keeps it clear for everyday use.
