There are 2 sections of Grand Canyon commonly accesses from Las Vegas. The nearer West Rim is where you find the hualapai indians and skywalk and is about 120 miles from Las Vegas and approximately 2.5 hour drive. The most popular South Rim (edge, lip) of the Grand Canyon is the National Park service Grand Canyon National Park and is about 270 miles from Las Vegas or about 4.5 hour drive.
