Can you recommend good researchers and companies actively involved in stem cell research?
I would, probably, think about Advanced Cell and Geron as the best companies and Dr. J. Thomson as top expert in this field. I have broad experience in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and becoming interested in stem cell research. I have a lot of transferrable skills, but did not get a chance so far to deal with stem cells, although very experienced with cell culture and primary cells. I would like to talk to experts in stem cell area to figure out what current trends are and what my opportunities can be there. Cold e-mail messages or calls did not work here. So, I will appreciate if you can refer me to people I can talk to concerning getting direct experience.
