Can you recommend a book on eco-friendly self-build techniques?
If you haven’t already, I suggest that you look at some of the self-build magazines (Build It, Homebuilding & Renovating, and Self-Build). They are full of ideas for eco-friendly self built techniques, and have classified ads in the back to point you even further in the right direction. Also you might like to contact the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales. They are a mine of useful information about green issues.
