The arthritis has to be severe enough to limit your mobility. If you are under 50 it is difficult to qualify. You basically have to not be able to walk unassisted or have limited use of both hands. If you are over 50, it’s a little easier to qualify, and if you are over 55 it is even easier. It all depends on what your past work was too. If your past work was a desk job, it will make it harder to qualify.
