Although this is not the recipe from the Bubble Room, hopefully it will be a suitable substitute. The nuts give each layer a pleasant crunch, and the orange flavor is tasty. Plus, it’s a pretty cake. I used 2 tablespoons of grated orange peel in the cake and only 1 tablespoon in the frosting. Because of the whipped topping in the frosting, store this cake covered in the refrigerator. Use a serrated knife to cut the cake easily. To save time, I used graham cracker crumbs rather than making them from graham cracker squares.
