Can you please tell me some peaceful pretty fish that will mix ok with my oranda?
Oranda should only be kept with other fancy goldfsih….I hate people at petstores who either have no idea what they are talking about or else will feed people a line of bull just to make a sell. Rehome your oranda in at least a 20 gal by itself or a bigger tank with other fancies. As far as a peaceful tank with your livebearers it will depend on what type of livebearers you have and the size of your tank. Some suggestions for guppies would be small peaceful, non-nippy tetras, hatchet fish, rasboras and cories, with platies any of the above plus some of the more active tetras and danios. If you have swordtails you are not going to have an overly peaceful tank as they are a bit more aggressive however suggestions for tank mates are larger tetras.
