REPLY =>I don’t know about CS, IIRC their are no linux binaries out (yet). But you can run a CS server fine, as with apache. Generally whatever you can do on linux you can do on xbox linux, (with little or no tweaking…) You could emulate or virtulise a windows envirment (either through WINE, or a full guest OS) and try and run CS on it. WINE probly won’t work because of the auth bits of Steam at the moment. You can run DOOM or Duke though… Reply #2: Half-Life 1 should run successfully under Wine, so any version of Counterstrike BEFORE 1.6 (so, 1.5 for instance) should work *okay* too. I’m going to go home and try this first on my regular PC and see if this is really true. 1.6, due to the Steam stuff, *may* be a no-go: on the other hand, the (commercial?) gaming version of Wine, Cedega (http://www.transgaming.com/products_linux.php) says it supports 1.6. I don’t have Cedega, so I can’t test if it does run. Regardless, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, etc would have to run in software Open
