Can you pass drug test on methadone?
Methadone is a synthetic opiate, so it does NOT show up as a regular opiate. The first is correct. The testing facility will tell you what is being tested for at the time of the test, so have a letter ready from your doctor or clinician stating you have been legally prescribed the drug just incase the company does test for Methadone. (It requires it’s own test, and is very rare) Also remember if you are denied employment specifically for being on Methadone, when it’s been prescribed by a doctor, it is in direct violation to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
