Can you name one place where gun control has reduced the homicide rate?
You are making a false link there- assuming that gun control is about reducing murder. If one person wants to kill another person, they will do it however they can, gun or not. Gun control is not about reducing murder, it’s about reducing accidental deaths. Things like a man hears a noise downstairs in the middle of the night, goes down to see what it is, and shoots an intruder- only to discover it’s his teenage daughter sneaking in after sneaking out. Or a child bringing a gun to school to show his friends, and accidentally killing one of them. If you want a valid static, compare the number of accidental gun deaths or injuries to gun deaths or injuries caused by a home gun being used for self defense. I bet that there are far fewer cases of self defense than accidents.
