Can You Make Wood Shavings With a Chipper?

0

Instead of disposing of entire branches or limbs when trees are trimmed, the wood is often run through a chipper shredder. This machine has a hopper on one end where the limbs and sticks are thrown in, and as their weight pushes them down saws and grinders will pulp the wood until its in chips. The machine then forces those chips and shreds out through a blower at the far end. While it is called a chipper, this machine can be used to make wood shavings rather than wood chips.
