Can you make peach or pear preserves from canned peaches or pears? Got a recipe?
Sure you just make a sugar syrup, add the fruits cut into small pieces and then the Certo jam /jelly set, or they make a generic one to and it is just as good and cheaper, with a spritz of lemon juice you can make a decent peach jam or pear compote. I am a former chef and have used both to booast my fresh fruit ones, for colour and texture reasons, even purre one can and use the other in pieces.
