Can you increase video card memory by adding more RAM?

0

You can increase it simply by going into the computer’s BIOS and changing the amount dedicated to your video card. Adding more RAM would let you do this without losing any system memory though. That all said, past a certain point increasing the video memory isn’t going to do much if anything for your overall performance. In fact it might be better to leave at least most of the extra RAM to the system.
