Doctors recommend sex on ovulation but not only that day. Your egg is only viable for 12-24 hours but sperm can live a max of 4 days. That being said it’s best to at least do the baby dance 4 days prior, 2 days prior, and then the day of and the day after (in case the second egg matures and is released. It’s best to have some sperm waiting to meet the egg. Also it’s best for your hubby to ejaculate at least every 5 days so that the sperm does not become slow and tired.
