Can you have a natural birth, after having a c section?

I’m sure it’s possible but you have to be stronger if you have a c-section then that means you were weaker so natural birth takes a lot of pushing.

Yes it’s called a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). Some doctors will not perform VBACs because they come with heightened risks. If you’re considering it, make sure you research it very carefully and choose a doctor who is informed on it and has experience in it. It has risks and although the complications can be rare, it’s very important that everybody be informed on what their signs are.

Possible but not likely depending on your insurance. My first was an emergency C-section. My 2nd was scheduled for a C- but due to complications, I delivered naturally. My 3rd was a scheduled C – but I went into pre-term labor and after the epi they decided that they wanted me to deliver naturally to help my babies lungs clear of fluid – so they waited until the epi wore off and I cold push and he was deliverd naturally. My 4th – I wanted natural, hubby wanted me to have a C (he doesnt’ like seeing me in pain when I deliver!!) But Dr. Said I didnt’ have a choice – it had to be a C since I had a previous C. I said that was 2 babies ago – my last 2 were natural – and I was told that a lot of new insurance regulations require a “once a C – always a C” unless you go to a teaching hospital.

It depends on the reason you needed a caesarean section the first time, but in some cases you can.
