Yes, you can take classes and work on your college degree! First thing you will probably do will be to work on your CCAF (Community College of the AF) degree. It’s pretty easy to get in what ever your career field is, as most of your credits will come from your training. Then, there are plenty of very good universities and colleges that offer both land and on-line classes. Some are more military friendly than others, and some have better reputations than others as well, so do shop around. While you are deployed you will still have internet and computer access, depending upon where you are located. Also, you will have advance notice of where and when you will deploy, so that will help in your planning as well. Also, every AF base has an education office with councelors available to help you in any way they can in achieving your college goals. And, best of all, active duty military can take CLEP and DANTES test free of charge to get additional college credits in general studies areas. Go
