We just drove thru Xmas tree pass last week and I was in a 4WD Jeep Liberty, the trip was beautiful and easy for the Jeep. There were a couple spots that might be a little difficult for a car with normal ground clearance. The road is tight in spots so you need to watch for oncoming vehicles and leave plenty of room for them to pass. Jake D.
