Can you give me more info on the Stableford Scoring used in 2010?
The scoring in Stableford competitions is made by points awarded in relation to a fixed score at each hole: Net Double Bogey or Worse…….0 points Net Bogey………………………………1 point Net Par………………………………….2 points Net Birdie……………………………….3 points Net Eagle………………………………4 points Net Double Eagle…………………..5 points Net Four Strokes Under Par…….6 points The Stableford method allows a competitor to pick up their ball and move on to the next hole if their score for the hole is going to be more than a Net Double Bogey. This scoring method is a fun way to score these events.
