Can you give an example of how Floormation is used with an RF Terminal?
Here is a basic example of how Floormation may be utilized in your operation using wireless RF handheld terminals: • Upon receipt of a skid at the receiving dock door the clerk would generate either an RF Id tag or a barcode sticker and attach it to the skid. This code/tag would be mapped to any number of things (client, packlist, skid#, product on skid, etc.) for internal tracking. • The receiving clerk would verify the skid content, scan the barcode and enter any other necessary information. • The materials clerk ( or whoever puts the skids away ) would scan the barcode into the stock-putaway screen, and the system would suggest a put-away location to the clerk depending on the size of the skid vs. the amount of free space in the clients location. ( The entire warehouse is represented in the program and a put-away algorithm decides where stock should be stored to utilize space most efficiently ). If the clerk accepts the suggested location she presses enter and unloads the skid there
