Diphenhydramine would produce an anti-cholinergic delierium in high doses (which is often considered extremely unpleasant by those who experience it), but the dosage required would mean ingesting an excessive amount of phenylephrine, which would potentially result in dangerous effects. Therefore, it is strongly advised that you do not attempt to “get high” off that cold medicine.
